Find your calling at Mercy! The Associate Sonographer operates imaging equipment and software, mostly ultrasound equipment, to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of patients. This role requires operating imaging equipment, ensuring patient safety, and maintaining high-quality imaging standards. The Associate Sonographer position also requires a strong commitment to patient care, technical expertise, and collaborative communication with patients and healthcare professionals to provide optimal care. What You'll Do
  • Perform high-quality sonography exams following established protocols
  • Adjust imaging techniques based on patient needs and clinical findings
  • Ensure patient comfort, safety, and clear communication throughout procedures
  • Maintain and operate ultrasound equipment safely and effectively
  • Collaborate with a supportive, fast-paced clinical team
What You'll Bring

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Graduate of an accredited School of Sonography with completed clinical hours or a registered Sonographer
  • ARDMS, ARRT, or CCI registry or registry eligible (must obtain within 6 months of eligibility)
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of hire
  • No prior experience required – new graduates are encouraged to apply!

Licensure:

  • State licensure may be required depending on the state of practice
  • Arkansas applicants: ARDMS-RVT, CCI-RVS, or ARRT-VS may be required within 12 months depending on role scope
