Find your calling at Mercy! We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Clinical Supervisor to lead our Dialysis Unit team. In this role, you will oversee daily clinical operations, support and mentor nursing staff, ensure high-quality patient care, and promote a positive and collaborative work environment. The Clinical Supervisor plays a key role in staffing, patient outcomes, regulatory compliance, and performance improvement while serving as a trusted resource for both patients and team members. Position Details: Key Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership and oversight for daily Dialysis Unit operations.

  • Ensure safe, high-quality, patient-centered care and positive patient outcomes.

  • Coordinate staffing and patient assignments based on patient needs and staff competencies.

  • Serve as a clinical resource, mentor, and role model for nursing staff.

  • Support staff development through coaching, education, and performance feedback.

  • Collaborate with physicians, leadership, and interdisciplinary teams to improve care delivery and operational efficiency.

  • Monitor compliance with organizational policies, regulatory requirements, and accreditation standards.

  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives, performance management, and patient satisfaction efforts.

  • Address patient, family, and team member concerns in a professional and timely manner.

  • Foster a culture of accountability, engagement, teamwork, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

Required

  • Graduate of an accredited Nursing program.

  • Current RN license in the applicable state of practice.

  • 3–5 years of hospital nursing experience.

  • American Heart Association Healthcare Provider (BLS) certification (or obtained within the introductory period).

  • Current or ability to obtain required certifications, including ACLS, TNCC, and ENPC or PALS.

Preferred

  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).

  • Prior leadership, charge nurse, or supervisory experience.

  • Dialysis or nephrology experience.
