The Executive Director of CaRedesign and Optimization works in collaboration with the Vice President of CaRedesign and Optimization to develop and cross cover strategic direction for redesigning care and maintains direct responsibility for oversight and operations related to redesigning care in the clinical setting including but not limited to:
Evidence-based design and content for continuous process improvement tools including order sets, clinical pathways, care paths, clinical guidelines, interdisciplinary care plans and Epic documentation tools that support the process.
Application of process improvement methodologies to design and document standard work processes and steps within a playbook for redesigned care standards for implementation across the Mercy Health ministry.
Change management and coordination of implementation of redesigned care standards and tools in partnership with facility operational leaders (COO, VP Operations, CNOs etc.) and teams at each acute care facility
Metric development, monitoring and sustainment including coordination of processes to optimize and continuously improve care processes, standards and tools within the EHR.
Work collaboratively across the continuum to support redesign in the inpatient, post-acute and outpatient settings
Allied health interdisciplinary care standards including but not limited to Nutritional Programs.
Additional projects related to improving clinical, quality and financial performance as needed Position Details: Nursing or Provider background, Masters in health or business-related field, Epic Certification Why Mercy?
