Assist the Chief Administrative Officer in providing leadership, direction and administration of clinic operations to ensure accomplishment of objectives. Supervises directors and administrative staff of assigned clinics. Develops positive and effective relationships with staff, board, physicians, regulators and the public. Oversees the day to day operations of the assigned Mercy Medical Clinics. Responsible for assisting the CAO with establishing of maintaining of policies, procedures, and processes/systems. Position Details:

Qualifications
Education: High school diploma or equivalent
Experience: Three years clinic experience
Other:

• Knowledge of health care administration and clinic philosophy and policies and operating procedures
• Knowledge of fiscal management systems and techniques
• Knowledge of human resource management practices including supervision and staff development
• Knowledge of governmental regulations and reimbursement requirements
• Knowledge of computer systems and applications
• Skill in exercising initiative, judgement, problem-solving, and decision making
• Skill in developing and maintaining effective relationships with staff, board, physicians, regulators and the public
• Skill in organizing work to achieve clinic goals and objectives
• Ability to analyze and interpret complex data
• Ability to research and prepare comprehensive reports
• Ability to communicate clearly
• Ability to remain calm and flexible and to manage and prioritize multiple demands and projects

Preferred Education: Degree in Health or Business Administration or other related field
Preferred Experience: Five years physician practice experience
