Find your calling at Mercy! The main task is to process and resubmit claims in the WQs assigned. The role has weekly productivities goals that must be met. Interacts with, clinic managers, and providers to function at a high level of efficiency. Monthly reports will be ran allowing to gather denial trends for each clinic.

Insurance Services Representative III is responsible for collection and resolution of outstanding insurance receivables including but not limited to unpaid, denied and underpaid claims. Insurance service representative III must communicate effectively, develop/oversee training program and knowledge transfer. Insurance Service Representative III displays quality and productive work habits, possesses comprehensive knowledge in department and all aspects revenue cycle operations. Serves as an operational lead for department. Performs duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with our mission, values and Mercy Service Standards. Position Details: Qualifications: Minimum Required Qualifications Education: HS Degree or Equivalent Licensure: None Experience: 2 years revenue cycle or meets position specific duties and responsibilities EPIC Resolute Hospital Billing or Ambulatory experience Certification/Registration: None Other Skills and Knowledge: Intermediate communication and customer service skills Intermediate Microsoft Excel and Word knowledge Intermediate Computer and keyboarding skills Excellent customer service skills Ability to communicate effectively (both written and verbal) Ability to influence others Comfort with data analysis and conveying results positively Excellent people skills Ability to use appropriate rounding tools when talking with co-workers and patients Preferred Qualifications Education: HS Degree or Equivalent Licensure: None Experience: Prior Revenue Cycle Healthcare billing or insurance Certification/Registration: None Other Skills and Knowledge: Advanced Microsoft Excel and Word knowledge Expanded Epic knowledge Ability to collect and analyze data Excellent communication, customer service, and problem solving skills Why Mercy?
