Description

The Manager of Quality provides leadership and directs work efforts associated with quality program activities such as quality assurance, patient safety, public reporting, regulatory and accreditation readiness, patient relations and performance improvement. This position has primary responsibility and oversight for these activities to ensure continued pursuit of the highest quality of care.
In collaboration with Ministry leaders, the manager provides strategic direction and oversees clinical quality initiatives including planning, design, development, implementation and evaluation of quality-related projects and programs.
The manager ensures appropriate, accurate and timely measurement and reporting of clinical quality and patient safety practices throughout the facility. Provides guidance and structure for holding coworkers and facility accountable to achieving performance goals. Promotes cooperation and sharing between quality departments across the ministry.

✔ Bachelor's degree in a healthcare-related field
✔ 5+ years of clinical healthcare experience
✔ 1–3 years in quality improvement, patient safety, or risk management
✔ Strong leadership, communication & presentation skills
✔ Ability to simplify complex data and influence decisions
✔ Collaborative mindset with high emotional intelligence
➕ Master's degree in a healthcare-related field
➕ CPHQ or CPPS certification
➕ Previous leadership/management experience in healthcare
