Overview:
Under the direction of the Executive Director of Revenue Integrity, the Manager of Revenue Integrity will be responsible for oversight of the ministry audit function and any vendors supporting the revenue integrity program. This position will provide leadership, mentoring and monitoring to ensure effectiveness of the internal team and external vendors who perform defense audit and revenue integrity duties. The Manager, Revenue Integrity will also be responsible for ensuring effective standards and processes are in place to meet organizational goals, drives continuous improvements in the development and deployment of standard Policies and Procedures, monitoring tools, strategies to improve quality of outpatient documentation and overall financial performance.
Qualifications:
- Experience: 3 years of direct healthcare experience with demonstrated expertise in revenue cycle functions as it relates to billing, coding, denial management and third-party payer requirements
- Required Education: Associate's or Bachelor's degree in healthcare related field.
- Preferred Education: Bachelor's degree in healthcare related field.
- Preferred Experience: 5 years of direct healthcare experience within the revenue cycle function as it relates to billing, coding, denial management and third-party payer requirements. Supervisory experience preferred.
- Certifications: Registered Nurse License (RN), Registered Health Information Administrator (RHIA), or Certified Coding Specialist Certification (CCS)
