We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Occupational Therapist (Per Diem) to join our rehabilitation team. In this rewarding role, you will provide patient-centered care through medically prescribed occupational therapy programs designed to help individuals achieve their highest level of function and independence. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team and play a key role in improving the quality of life for patients across a variety of settings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate, plan, organize, and implement individualized occupational therapy treatment programs.
  • Deliver skilled therapeutic interventions that promote functional improvement and maximize patient potential.
  • Practice within the scope of the Missouri Occupational Therapy Practice Act and maintain compliance with all applicable state, federal, and professional regulations.
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, case managers, therapists, patients, and families to develop and achieve treatment goals.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of evaluations, treatment plans, progress notes, and outcomes.
  • Promote departmental growth and excellence by participating in special projects, quality initiatives, and patient care programs.
  • Respond effectively and professionally during emergency situations when required.
Qualifications Required

Education

  • Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program.

Licensure

  • Current Occupational Therapy license in the hiring state or eligibility for licensure.

Certifications

  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association.

Other

  • Ability to respond appropriately to emergency situations.
Preferred

Certifications

  • National Board Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT).
