Description

Find your calling at Mercy! A subject matter expert working as a liaison between Mercy Technology Services (MTS) and Emergency Services advancing the automation of work and ensuring workflows are developed to support an EDIS. Devises or modifies IT solution to solve complex clinical business system problems for automation of workflow and meet regulatory and accreditation standards. Responsible for the training and ensuring co-worker competencies specific to EDIS; liaison with MTS to ensure co-worker security access to EDIS systems. Liaison with Clinical Engineering. Project lead for designing, planning and implementation of EDIS projects which includes working with ancillary, outpatient and inpatient departments. Supports new and installed software applications. Develops end-user training and documentation materials. Supports conversions and downtimes. Liaison with Clinical Engineering to ensure clinical equipment is working correctly for the ED. Responsible for payroll for the department; as well as time and attendance tracking. Position Details:

Minimum Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelors degree in an applicable field required, or equivalent experience in health care; with strong computer skills and knowledge.
  • Licensure: Appropriate to field.
