Overview:

 

This position plays a critical role ensuring patients have timely access to necessary medications by completing and submitting prior authorization for Mercy Primary Care clinics. Works cooperatively with others as part of a team and recognizes the importance of group goals


Qualifications:

  • Education:High school diploma or equivalent
  • Licensure:Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) by the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board must be obtained within 6 months of hire.
  • Licensure: Actively registered and in good standing with the State Board of Pharmacy as a Pharmacy Technician or willing to submit application for registration by first day of employment. This includes submitting fingerprints for FBI background check.
  • Experience: One-year of EPIC and retial pharmacy experience preferred.
