Position Title: Senior Informatics Analyst
Location: Onsite – Mercy Hospital Southeast - Cape Girardeau

Overview:
Mercy is seeking a dedicated and experienced Senior Informatics Analyst to support our Electronic Health Record (EHR) Program. This role plays a critical part in enhancing clinical care delivery through technology and innovation.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Serve as a subject matter expert in clinical care delivery related to the EHR.
• Evaluate and promote new technologies to improve clinical documentation and assessment workflows.
• Support the development and advanced implementation of automated clinical processes.
• Provide direct, at-the-elbow support to EHR end users across the organization.

Qualifications:

• Experience: Minimum of 5 years in a relevant technical or business role.
• Education: Bachelor's degree in a healthcare-related field, or equivalent experience/training with electronic health records.
• Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Preferred Experience:
  • Prior experience with Epic EHR.
  • Background in data analytics and data management related to systems evaluation.
  • Familiarity with medical policy documentation.
  • Exposure to all phases of systems analysis and design.
  • Understanding of system usability and human factors.
  • Experience with business applications and the ability to manage competing priorities.
