Job Description:
Position Summary
Under the leadership of the department director, the Senior Administrative Assistant supports and coordinates department operations. The Senior Administrative Assistant performs front-desk functions including, but not limited to, greeting patients, answering incoming phone calls, scheduling and coordinating meetings, taking meeting minutes, ordering supplies, reserving conference rooms and performing minor transcription service, tracks expenditures, communicates current and future events across all of the Cancer Center program, and additional duties as assigned within the scope of the position. Position interacts with patients, medical staff, and peers in a positive service-oriented manner.
Experience
Three years clerical experience preferred.
Education
High school diploma, G.E.D., or equivalent work experience in related field required. Some college or business courses preferred. Computer skills required with working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite to include MS Teams. Working knowledge of office equipment preferred.
