Morada Senior Living is hiring Restorative Aide/CNA for Morada Temple.

Restorative Aide Essential Duties:

• Provide personal care to residents in a manner conducive to their safety and comfort.  Assist in the provision of restorative or rehabilitative care.
• Performs restorative nursing tasks such as ambulation, range of motion, positioning, self-feeding, etc., within the scope of individuals' training.
• Promotes and supports the greatest possible degree of independence for residents.
• Advises supervising charge nurse of resident's status at beginning and end of shifts.
• Contributes knowledge of resident's conditions/needs to resident care plans.
• Assists in the implementation of care plans as directed within the parameters of established policy and procedure.
• Observes and reports on resident's conditions, and documents observations as required.
• Must be able to perform moderate to heavy lifting.
• Complies with requirements of procedures for safe lifting and/or safe transfer of residents per established policies and procedures.
• Assists in the care and maintenance of therapy area and equipment.
• Assures that equipment is clean and functional.
• Assist residents at mealtime as may be necessary.

Job Requirements

• State certification as a nursing assistant
• Complete familiarity with the duties of a certified nursing assistant
• Highly developed observation skills
