Pay Range: $18.30 - 22.77 hourly   Schedule: Monday through Friday 7am-3:30pm Job Description: Your Piece of the Puzzle   NFM's Shop Assistant is responsible for supporting team members in our repair shop and inventory control department.  If you're a team player and are looking to kick-start your career at NFM, this is a great place to start.    Job Duties: A Day in the Life Inspect Repaired Furniture for quality control, Wrap product and load on flats Repair: remove back panels and install mirrors Assist: Work with the inventory team to pick merchandise for delivery, cycle products in the repair shop and order supplies/product parts as needed Maintain: Organize lumber rack and keep the repair shop up to NFM housekeeping standards Safety: Keep all hazardous chemicals properly labeled and stored according to government standards Your work will directly impact our ability to help people create a lifestyle they love, for the people they love—because that's what we love.   Qualifications: Can You Check These Boxes? Must be 18 years of age High School Diploma or GED preferred 6 months' warehouse or labor experience Positive, upbeat attitude Ability to lift/push/pull required weights Ability to work night, weekend and/or early morning hours based on business needs Pre-employment screening includes, but isn't limited to, criminal background check
