At NorthBay Health the Cardiovascular-Interventional Radiologic Technologist II (CIRT) is registered by the state of California Radiologic Association and possesses a California state fluoroscopy permit.  The CIRT has responsibility, training and competence with diagnostic, routine and complex interventional cardiac angiographic and cardiac implant procedures.  The duties also include routine and complex vascular, peripheral vascular, non-vascular, interventional and trauma procedures.

Qualifications

 

Education: Graduate of an accredited 1-year school of x-ray technology.

Licensure/Certification:

  • Current CA CRT, ARRT, and CA Fluoroscopy permit required.
  • Current AHA or AHA equivalent BLS required. 
  • ACLS preferred.
  • RCIS preferred. 

Experience: 

  • Must complete NorthBay Healthcare Primary Coronary Intervention Training Program or have a minimum of 1 year recent experience doing Primary Coronary Intervention in a Cardiac Cath Lab performing no less than 50 cases per month required. 
  • Experience with CPACS preferred. 
  • Experience with peripheral vascular intervention, interventional radiology and trauma preferred.

  • Demonstrates competence in clinical specialty. 
  • Ability to work quickly and efficiently in a complex situation. 
  • Independent and reliable with excellent critical thinking and problem solving skills

Communication – Proficient written, verbal, and electronic communication skills in the English language.

Compensation: 

  • Hourly Salary Range $68.97 – $83.82  (MAX is commensurate of 20+ years of experience as a CIRT, listed range includes per diem differential, offered hourly rate based on years of experience)
