At NorthBay Health the Clinical Nurse (RN) has the responsibility, accountability, and the authority to deliver safe, effective, quality, excellent nursing care according to the philosophy and goals/objectives of the Department of Nursing. The RN, utilizing Jean Watson's Theory of Caring Relationship Based Care, and NorthBay's professional nursing practice model assesses, plans, implements and evaluates care for all patients assigned to his/her care. The RN makes determinations regarding the progress of the patient toward goals and utilizes a therapeutic professional relationship with the patient/family and interdisciplinary team to facilitate the promotion, maintenance, and restoration of health. Care is provided according to the specific physiologic, developmental and psychosocial needs of the patient. Supports the mission, vision, values and expectation of excellence of the organization.

Qualifications
Education:
- Graduate from an accredited school of professional registered nursing.
- BSN required by January 1, 2020, unless grandfathered as outlined in March 2014 letter.
Licensure:
- Valid and current RN license by the State of California.
- Current AHA or AHA equivalent BLS.
- Current ACLS
Experience:
- Minimum six month's acute care experience required.
- A minimum of one-year recent experience doing Cath Lab.
- Minimum two years of experience in critical care preferred.
- RCIS preferred.
- Advance assessment, monitoring and care of complex patients.
- Assessment, monitoring, and care of environment, patient pre, during, and post procedures within the Cath Lab and Cath Lab Observation.
- Proficient written, verbal, and electronic communication skills.

Work Hours:
- Variable. Stand-by availability required with 30 minute arrival time.
- FTE: 1.0 (Full-Time Equivalent)
- Total Hours: 40 hours weekly
- Shift: 10-hour shifts
Compensation:
- Hourly Salary Range Min $74.77 - Max $90.16 (Offered hourly rate based on years of experience)
