At NorthBay Health, the Internal Communications Manager will lead employee communications strategies and execution for NorthBay Health. This role is responsible for creating, coordinating, and delivering communications that inform, engage, and inspire our employees, helping them understand organizational priorities, live our values, and feel connected to our mission of delivering compassionate, world-class care. The Internal Communications Manager will work under the oversight of the Director of Communications to ensure alignment with organizational strategy and brand voice.
Qualifications
Education: Bachelor's degree in communications, Journalism, Public Relations, or related field.
Experience: Five (5+) years of experience in internal or corporate communications, preferably within healthcare or mission-driven organizations.
Skills: Exceptional writing, editing, and storytelling skills with the ability to adapt tone for diverse audiences. Strong project management skills; able to balance multiple priorities and deadlines. Experience managing digital communication tools (intranet, employee apps, email platforms, analytics). Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with high attention to detail and discretion.

Ability to build relationships across all levels of the organization and influence stakeholders.
Hours of Work: Monday through Friday; eight hours each day; some weekend and holiday assignments. Hybrid schedule optional with a minimum 3 days a week on-site.
Compensation: $120k to $135k based on years of experience doing the duties of the role.
