Description
At NorthBay Health, we are seeking a Board Certified, Licensed Vascular Surgeon to join our dynamic and growing surgical team in Northern California. As part of NorthBay's surgical and cardiovascular services, the vascular surgery team plays a critical role in diagnosing and treating a full range of vascular conditions, from peripheral arterial disease to aneurysms, carotid disease, and venous disorders.
This position will support our Solano and Napa Region.
Located between the San Francisco Bay Area, Napa Valley, and Sacramento, NorthBay Health offers providers the opportunity to practice advanced vascular medicine in a region rich in culture, natural beauty, and recreational activities.
Schedule:- Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM
Combination of inpatient, outpatient, and operative responsibilities
Rounding on surgical inpatients and post-operative follow-ups
Vascular lab interpretation and interventional procedures as appropriate
Average of 25 patients in clinic/day
Surgical volume: elective and emergent vascular cases including:
Aneurysm repair (open and EVAR)
Carotid endarterectomy
Peripheral revascularization
Endovenous ablation
Access procedures for dialysis patients
State-of-the-art hybrid operating room
Access to CT angiography, MR angiography, duplex ultrasonography
Collaboration with advanced practice providers and surgical support teams
Perform open and endovascular surgeries to treat arterial and venous conditions
Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations, diagnostic interpretations, and surgical planning
Collaborate with referring physicians and other departments for continuity of care
Educate patients and families on conditions, procedures, and post-op expectations
Participate in hospital quality improvement initiatives, case reviews, and committees
Qualifications
Qualifications:
MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
Completion of general surgery residency and vascular surgery fellowship or integrated vascular surgery residency
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Vascular Surgery (ABS)
Licensed or eligible to practice in the state of California
Proficiency in both open and endovascular techniques
Experience in interpreting vascular studies and managing a full range of vascular pathology
Excellent surgical judgment, patient communication skills, and interdisciplinary collaboration.
Adapts to working within an energized and collaborative operational and clinical team.

Compensation ( Employed Physician)
- Total compensation up to $924,024 for Full Time, 1.0 FTE Employee Model includes:
- Sign-On Bonus up to $50,000
- Relocation Assistance available for qualified candidates up to $20,000
