At NorthBay Health, the Provider Onboarding Coordinator serves as the central point of contact for newly hired Physicians and Advanced Practice Providers (APPs), owning and managing related end-to-end onboarding, offboarding, and practice transitions. This role ensures a seamless and coordinated exceptional candidate experience from offer acceptance through full integration into the health system. This is a highly visible role, that will work onsite to support Physicians and APP's and as needed .
This role will collaborate cross-functionally with physician recruitment, talent acquisition, contracting, provider enrollment, revenue cycle, clinic operations, and medical staff teams. The coordinator is responsible for managing the onboarding process flow by facilitating cross-functional meetings, maintaining timelines, coordinating training schedules, owning the onboarding checklist, and facilitating all pre- and post-hire activities.
The Coordinator must be adept at influencing and mentoring others and building strong relationships with providers and leaders. Supports all HR initiatives. This role requires an understanding of HR policies and procedures, as well as the ability to handle sensitive and confidential information.

Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's degree required, or eight or more years combination of education and related work experience required.
- Licensure/Certification: none required
- Experience: At least three years' experience working with confidential information required. Professional level experience in a healthcare environment required. Provider onboarding experience strongly preferred.
- Skills: Proficient with PC, Microsoft Suite, Outlook, and other computer programs. Exceptional customer service skills, preferably in physician/APP relations. Ability to read and interpret contract language and a baseline understanding of hospital operations. Ability to work under deadlines, prioritize needs and take initiative while working independently. Advanced organizational, task management, and problem-solving skills. Financial acumen required. Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple concurrent activities, including time-sensitive recurrent tasks. Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

- Hours of Work: Based on business need, primarily office hours Monday - Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm. Does require occasional off-site, off-hours work.
- Compensation: $39.67 to $48.23 based on years of experience doing the duties of the job.
