Responsibilities

 

  • Lead end-to-end project management for critical outsourcing projects to support customer deliverables.
  • Collaborates with internal sales, product managers, engineering, procurement, and planning team to develop outsourcing plan in alignment with business needs.
  • Coordinates outsourcing partners evaluation, selection, and implementation in conjunction with functional teams serving as single point of contact throughout process.
  • Works with outsourcing partners to communicate delivery plan, manage risk, resolve issues, and address critical questions.
  • Review existing processes and identify enhancements to perform activities with appropriate control points.
  • Analyze longer term demand to make recommendations which address production capacity capabilities and transition of activities when necessary.
  • Utilizes insight from data analytics and tracking tools to partner performance (delivery) and identify cost-savings initiatives.
  • Maintain key performance metrics surrounding planning and delivery.

 

Knowledge / Skills

 

  • History of working with external partners in delivery of services for customers.
  • Experience in demand planning while delivering above average customer experience.
  • Proven track record of managing a large number of SKU's in a complex manufacturing environment.
  • Proven ability to develop production plans and inventory strategies while effectively communicating recommendations to executive management.
  • Skilled at working effectively with cross-functional teams in a matrix organization.
  • Familiarity working in ERP systems; Netsuite/SAP experience preferred.
  • Data mining and analytical skills with an above average proficiency in MS Excel.
  • Experience working with data visualization tools (Tableau).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

 

Education / Experience

 

  • BS degree or equivalent experience required. Concentration in supply chain, operations management, and business-related field highly preferred.
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in a planning, analytics, or similar role. Advanced degree in related field accepted in lieu of experience.
  • Lean Six Sigma preferred.
  • Project Management preferred.
  • CPIM certification a plus.
