We are looking for an experienced and reliable Events Security Supervisor to lead on-site security operations at concerts, festivals, and community events. This role is ideal for a confident leader who thrives in fast-paced environments and is committed to delivering safe, professional, and customer-focused security services.

Responsibilities    

  • Supervise and support all event security and guest services staff to ensure proper coverage, professionalism, and compliance with venue policies and procedures. 
  • Physically able to stand and walk for extended periods and perform duties for the full duration of events. 
  • Act as the primary point of contact for the client, venue management, and event organizers for all security and guest services matters during the event. 
  • Conduct pre-event and post-event staff briefings to communicate assignments, expectations, safety protocols, and emergency procedures. 
  • Coordinate the check-in and check-out of all site equipment, including radios, keys, access credentials, and safety equipment, ensuring accountability at all times. 
  • Perform pre-event inspections of event spaces to confirm all security, safety, and operational equipment is correctly positioned and functional. 
  • Maintain constant radio availability throughout the event, providing direction, support, and real-time response to staff and operational needs. 
  • Monitor crowd behavior, access control points, and restricted areas to proactively identify and address safety, security, or guest service concerns. 
  • Respond to incidents, guest complaints, and staff issues, applying conflict management and de-escalation techniques when required. 
  • Complete incident reports, supervisor logs, and post-event documentation, and provide feedback to management. 

Requirements    

  • Minimum of 1 year of work experience in the security industry  
  • Advanced Security Training (AST)  
  • Valid Basic First Aid Training  
  • Excellent customer service, professionalism, and communication 
  • Must be legally authorized to work in Canada 
  • Must be able to commit to a minimum of 1 year
