Paladin Security is Hiring a Security Officer!
About the Role
We're looking for a dedicated and reliable Full-Time Mobile Security Guard to join our team. If you take pride in protecting people and property, we want to meet you!
Schedule & Pay
- Hourly Rate: $16.75 to $18.00hour
- Schedule: Weekdays and Weekends – Morning, Evening and Overnights
- Ability to work 10-12 hours nightshifts:
- A shift – 1630 – 0230hrs
- B shift – 2200 – 0800 hrs
- D shift – 0800hrs- 1630hrs
- Status: Full-Time
Key Responsibilities
- Patrol the site by foot and vehicle to ensure safety and prevent unauthorized access
- Enforce rules, control access points, and de-escalate situations with professionalism
- Respond to emergencies, including intoxication, aggression, or medical incidents
- Provide exceptional customer service to the public
- Communicate via two-way radio and write detailed reports on incidents and daily activity
- Ability to lead, plan organize, delegate and problem-solve
- Able to deal with high stress levels
- Ability to respect and promote a culturally diverse population
- Capable of walking up to 10 km a day.
- Ability to run short distances
- Willingness to be exposed to dangerous situations alone
- Exceptional customer service, professionalism, and communication (both Verbal and written) skills
- Ability to function effectively in a fast-paced and potentially stressful environment and prioritized based on the severity of the issue
- We able to work under minimal supervision
- Willing to undergo a drug panel screening
Requirements
- At least 19 years of age
- Must have a full Class 5 MB Driver's License or higher and a clean drivers abstract
- Must have one year experience of driving in Canada
- Must be bondable
- 1-2 years of security experience (static sites)
- MOAB Certification — or willingness to complete company-sponsored training prior to onboarding
- First Aid & CPR Level C certification (CSA-approved provider) - Training will be provided to successful candidates
- Comfortable with physical duties: standing, walking, sitting for extended periods. And working in extreme weather conditions
- English fluency (written and spoken)
- High School Diploma or GED
- Legally authorized to work in Canada

Education Requirements (All)
High School Diploma/GED
Minimum 1 year experience in security
First Aid, CPR Level C
Valid Manitoba Security Guard License
Authorized to legally work in Canada
Minimum of 1 year security experience
Clean Drivers Abstract
Valid Manitoba Security License
