Summary of Job Description:

The Senior Facilities Manager must reside in Arizona.

The Senior Facilities Manager is responsible for planning and managing the repair and maintenance for 60 – 100 stores in one Region and up to five Facility Managers and Associate Managers, overseeing the stores for which they are responsible. This position searches, evaluates, and negotiates and contracts with regional vendors to provide preventative maintenance and needed repair services to assigned facilities managed directly and through other Managers. The Senior Facilities Manager leads a team of managers and professionals, coaching and developing associates to elevate their performance.


You'll get a chance to:

  • Plan and manage the repair and maintenance for to 60 – 100 stores in one Region within budget, ensuring all stores meet Panda facility standards.
  • Manage up to five Facility Managers and Associate Managers, overseeing the stores for which they are responsible. 
  • Coach and develop managers and professionals to elevate their performance. 
  • Work with the Facilities Director to select, evaluate, and retain staff.
  • Contribute to strategic planning for the Facilities department and conduct high level budget development and oversight.
  • Oversee the Facility Manager's management and tracking of vendors' performance to ensure work meets quality requirements and is provided in a timely and cost-effective manner. May use the Service Channel tools and reports for managing vendor maintenance and repair costs.
  • Develop maintenance and preventive maintenance programs that enable store managers to handle routine or urgent situations. 
  • Train store managers on the programs and on working with vendors.
  • Support Risk Management's crisis management program by responding to emergencies, inspecting equipment and systems, and resolution problems.

Your background and experience: 

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required; CRFP or equivalent certification required and maintained
  • 7 years of facilities management experience, preferably in the restaurant or big box retail industry
  • Successful completion of initial and periodically required trainings.
  • Obtaining a valid Food Handler's Card within 30 days of employment is a requirement of this position.
  • Working toward CRFP certification or equivalent
  • Active driver's license
  • Ability to drive in locations that requires ground transportation during the course of work


Pay Range: M3: $127,000 - $178,500 / Annual

* Within the range, individual pay is determined using various factors, including work location and experience.



ADA Statement:

While performing duties, counter areas are often hot with steam from steam table and food vapors. Workspace is restricted and employees are generally expected to remain standing for long periods of time. Employees must prepare hot and cold foods, use Chinese cook knife and other kitchen equipment and work quickly without losing accuracy. Employees must be able to lift up to 50 lbs., stand up to four hours and reach across counter tops measured at 36 inches to serve customers. Kitchens are hot and noise levels are usually high; storage space is limited and shelving is high. Employees must be able to work in a fast-paced work environment, have effective verbal communication skills, ability to adapt to a dynamic environment with changing priorities, and the ability to manage conflicts/difficult situations.
