Description

The Legal Records Analyst is responsible for the project management of the legal records database. This position will be the SME for technical issues related to the records management database.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Responsible for managing projects in the Legal Department and acts as the primary liaison between the Legal Department and IT Department.
  • Facilitates records-related technical project management and ensuring quality and accuracy of initiatives.
  • Responsible for setting up workflow systems and other software applications for the Legal team.
  • Monitors performance and usage of company records management and Legal matter management databases.
  • Generates records disposition reports.
  • Stays current on new software and upgrades to existing software.
  • Conducts technical training of Records Management team and Legal Department team as needed.


Qualifications

Education/Certification:

  • Bachelor's Degree required.

Experience:

  • 3+ years' experience technical project management, information technology, computer development, or records management software administration required.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Experience:

  • Experience using M365/Purview Software or other records management software
  • Experience using Knowliah Matter Management System

Skills/Abilities:

  • Evaluate critical systems, prioritize workflow and determine solutions
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to understand and apply laws, regulations and policies related to information technology and privacy
  • Read and understand technical manuals
  • Work for extended time at keyboard/terminal
  • Maintain effective working relationships with supervisor and coworkers
