Position Summary:
Penske Logistics is looking for warehouse associates to become part of an excellent team. The Warehouse Lead Trainer must educate, train, and certify all new hires and current associates on equipment, safety, operational procedures, food safety handling, and other trainings as assigned in GENSUITE, or by the organizational leadership team, including refresher courses/training. The Warehouse Lead Trainer will help with all process improvement projects as well as help support the day-to-day operational goals. The Warehouse Lead Trainer must act professional, lead by example, demonstrate a strong attendance record, adhere to all company policies, and ensure safety is a top priority.

Scheduled: 8:30AM-5:00PM
Wage: $20.48 per hour

Major Responsibilities:
Job requirements may include the following where applicable:
• Conducts classroom and floor training to both newly hired and tenured employees (i.e. order selectors, loaders, auditors, etc.).
• Coach, counsel, and inspire employees to meet and exceed required productivity standards.
• Conducts assessments to identify specific skill/knowledge gaps, training objectives, and required changes in training policies and procedures.
• Coordinates trainings and re-certifications while ensuring consistent and standardized evaluation.
• Observes employees to determine training effectiveness and ensures any additional training requirements are implemented.
• Properly documents all initial and refresher training requirements.
• Exhibits and practices positive communication and team building skills with trainees to ensure a professional environment.
• Executes & provides process & project visibility to Project Leader.
• Complies with all company policies, practices, and procedures. Reports all unsafe activities to their respective Supervisor.
• Requires flexibility to function as a team member and assist with operational tasks within each department as required by senior leadership, such as operating all required PIT equipment, and perform other warehouse duties as needed or assigned.
Qualifications:
•4 years of warehouse or supervisory experience preferred
•2 years of experience on multiple types of MHE required, including Forklift / Reach Truck, Dock Truck, Electronic Pallet Jacks (EPJ), etc.
•High School diploma or equivalent preferred
•Bi-lingual ability preferred
•Basic computer skills including Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint required.
•Strong written/oral communication and organizational skills are required
•Consistent and dependable attendance is an essential function of the job.

• Flexible to work overtime preferred
• Ability to work in non-climate controlled conditions
• Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job.
• Willingness to travel as necessary, work the required schedule, work at the specific location required, complete Penske employment application, submit to a background investigation (to include past employment, education, and criminal history) and drug screening required.
