Key Responsibilities
Student Success & Career Development

Lead career development strategies and job placement initiatives

Conduct job search workshops covering networking, resume writing, and interview skills
-
Present Career Services resources at new student orientations

Provide personalized career counseling to students and graduates

Coordinate certification testing for graduates
Externship Program Management
-
Oversee externship placements and maintain quality standards
-
Ensure compliance with ABHES/PMI requirements for all externship sites
-
Monitor student progress through site visits and evaluations
-
Manage externship documentation and student requirements
Employer Relations & Networking
-
Conduct weekly site visits to maintain and expand employer partnerships
-
Coordinate Advisory Board meetings and member recruitment
-
Organize job fairs and employer appreciation events
-
Develop and maintain relationships with medical facilities and clinics
Team Leadership & Reporting

Supervise Career Services Advisors to maintain 70%+ placement rates

Perform staff evaluations and provide professional development

Generate and analyze placement statistics and job trend data

Maintain detailed database records of employer partnerships and placements

Administer and analyze graduate, employer, and externship surveys
Requirements
-
Bachelor's degree preferred
-
3+ years of experience in recruiting, placement, marketing, or public relations

Strong verbal and written communication abilities

Proficient with computer systems and databases

Exceptional networking and relationship-building skills
