We have an excellent opportunity for a full-time EM Physician to join our Emergency Department team in Roslyn, NY. We are seeking an EM Physician to join our democratic group in Long Island at Catholic Health Services team through Progressive Emergency Physicians and become a part of one of our nation's leading healthcare organizations. Emergency Department
The Emergency Department now averages 40,000 patients per year which the providers cover the main ED and OBS unit. We have a dedicated Observation Unit and over 50% of patients seen in the department are admitted or observed. We have up to 6 physicians working simultaneously, and average 3 shifts of PA coverage daily. MRI and CT are available 24/7. Extensive ultrasound services and Cardiac CT Angiography is readily available to the E.D. Two dedicated ED ultrasound machines are always available to providers.
The hospital serves as a high level referral center, and has advanced procedural capabilities. St. Francis has nearly all medical and surgical specialties and subspecialties readily available, and our 24/7 in house Critical Care program collaborates actively with the Emergency Department to take extraordinary care of our sickest patients.
