Prokatchers is seeking a local contract Pharmacist for a local contract job in Beaver, Oklahoma.

Job Description & Requirements

Pay Rate: $67/hr.
Standard shift: Days
Weekly schedule: 5x8
Shift Timings: 09:00 AM - 05:00 PM Monday - Friday (Retail) | Hospital Drug Room (Weekly Visit)
Responsibility:
Accurate prescription filling, receiving new and refill prescription requests, counseling patients and answering patient questions, organizing and maintaining accurate
records, simple compounding of prescription products, insurance billing, prior authorization request processing
The PIC is responsible for or responsible for delegating any task which ensures the pharmacy continues to operate smoothly regardless of staff members assigned to the task, including helping support staff when needed, housekeeping, stocking of products both over the counter and prescription, etc.
The PIC is responsible for ordering and receiving all CII products
The PIC is responsible for scheduling the annual inventory date as well as returning all outdated products
Lead and manage the pharmacy team, ensuring efficient workflow, compliance with regulations, and adherence to best practices.
Management of pharmacy staff on duty and resolution of problems arising in the pharmacy on a day to day basis.
The PIC is responsible for all hiring and termination of pharmacy staff, as well as conducting annual evaluations of pharmacy staff and staff training as required.
Technology Integration: Champion the adoption and integration of technology solutions to enhance pharmacy operations, data analysis, medication safety, and workflow efficiency.
Purpose:
The Pharmacist-In-Charge (PIC) is responsible for maintaining and managing the day to day operations of the pharmacy.
The PIC is responsible for ensuring that the overall functions of the pharmacy operations are smooth, high quality and professionally acceptable.
In addition, the PIC plays a pivotal role by leading and overseeing critical focus areas including pharmacy & therapeutics, antibiotic stewardship, infection prevention/control and quality improvement.
The PIC is committed to delivering exceptional healthcare by prioritizing patient safety, clinical excellence and resource stewardship.
The PIC will ensure that the pharmacy is operating at its maximum financial potential at all times.
The PIC reports directly to the Chief Executive Officer.
Education:
The PIC is required to have a pharmacy degree that means a Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D) and must be licensed by the State of Oklahoma.
The education requirement combined with related management experience would be preferred but not required.
The PIC must have proficient knowledge in pharmacy related functions such as inventory management, immunization/ vaccination programs, pharmaceutical computer software or systems, point of service sales, 340B drug program, etc.
