Operations Data Specialist

Department:Chemical Operations

Work Schedule:Monday – Friday, First Shift

WHO YOU ARE:

Are you the person that everyone knows as organized, prepared, and meticulous with details?Do you have experience with tracking large amounts of data? Join our team as an Operations Data Specialist! This role will report directly to our Chemical Operations Director, but will have the opportunity to work with Quality Control teams and the Health and Safety Specialist. Due to the nature of this work, you must be 18 years of age or older to apply.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

  • Manage Production Documentation:
  • Track and receive production records from operations and ensure they are complete and accurate
  • Enter production data into the ERP system, track it through quality control process, and close the production order when QC is complete
  • Scan and file completed production records
  • Manage product conversions in ERP system
  • Ensure documentation for raw materials received by railcar is complete and accurate then scan and file it
  • Maintain and issue production data and cost reports
  • Oversee management of change process for procedures and other controlled documents:
  • Ensure the company portal links and hard copies of procedures, forms, and other controlled documents are kept updated with the most current versions
  • Maintain history files for controlled documents
  • Issue and track completion of routine inspection reports and the action items they generate
  • Coordinate the meeting schedule and agenda for the Operations Safety Review Committee and take minutes of the meetings
  • Participate in routine production and L10 team meetings
  • Assist the Health and Safety Specialist in their role to maintain operations documents necessary for SOCMA certification and other regulatory requirements
  • Perform other job duties as assigned by leadership

WHAT WE PREFER YOU HAVE:

High School Graduate or General Education Degree (“GED”)

OUR ENVIRONMENT:

This position works in an office environment with a controlled temperature and a low noise level. You may be required to stand, walk, sit, use fingers and hands, reach outward, and reach above shoulder. There is potential for this position to work in a hybrid setting where part of your time works remotely out of your home office.
