- Job Details
- Role: CT Scan Technologist (Inpatient)
- Responsible for assisting the radiologist in diagnostic CT scan procedures, and ensuring patient care
- Produces diagnostic CT scans, under the supervision of the CT Supervisor
- Demonstrate knowledge and skills necessary to provide care based on physical, motor/sensory, psychosocial, and safety appropriate to the age of the patient served
- Responsible for coordination of the daily workflow and assist in the throughput of ER, in-patients and outpatients
- Responsible for appropriate QC monitoring, mandatory in-services, etc.
- Has the authority to make technical decisions for the best possible CT scans, and administer IV contrast materials under the direction of the radiologist
- Proficient in the use of in-house CT scanning and contrast injecting equipment
- Challenged to operate a variety of sophisticated CT imaging units and image storage systems
- Provide optimal patient care through assessment, planning, implementation, and exam evaluation of neonatal, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients and families.

- American Registry of Radiological Technologists ARRT(R) upon hire
- AART (CT) Registry must be acquired within 12 months upon hire
- State of Nevada license for Medical Radiography
- AHA BLS within 60 days upon hire
- Minimum two year clinical experience in the respective departmental required
- Schedule Information
- Shift: Monday-Thursday day shift, most likely 10a-8:30p or 8a-6:30p
- No call requirements specified
- Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 40
- Call Requirements: To Be Discussed During Interview
- Additional Details
- Travelers may be required to float to the needs of the organization up to their competency level
- May be required to work major holidays and pick up one additional shift during schedule period
- Renown has the right to call off, without penalty, 48 hours, for low census per 13-week contract. This may be full or partial shifts
