We are seeking a motivated Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Analyst to join our team in Winnipeg. The Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Analyst supports strategic and operational decision-making through financial analysis, performance reporting, and business insights. This role works closely with senior FP&A team members and cross-functional leaders to evaluate financial performance, identify trends, and improve financial transparency and discipline across the organization.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Analyze financial results, KPIs, and performance trends to identify key drivers, risks, and opportunities
- Perform variance, scenario, sensitivity, and what‑if analyses to support decision‑making and strategic planning
- Build and maintain financial models for business cases, investments, and strategic initiatives
- Prepare management reports, dashboards, and presentations for senior leadership and operational teams
- Partner with business stakeholders to understand operational performance and deliver actionable financial insights
- Support profitability analysis across products, customers, channels, and business units, along with ad hoc projects
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
- At least 1 year of experience in FP&A, corporate finance, accounting, or a related analytical role
- Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint; familiarity with BI tools (e.g., Power BI) and ERP/financial reporting systems is considered an asset
- Strong analytical, financial modeling, and problem‑solving skills with high attention to detail
- Ability to translate complex data into clear insights and communicate effectively with non‑finance stakeholders
- Highly organized, proactive, and comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment
- Strong sense of ownership and accountability; agriculture industry knowledge is an asset
