Description
Responsibilities:
Test samples to ensure product quality, safety, and specification compliance
Audit production and packaging for accuracy in shapes, specifications, storage, packaging, labeling and coding
Identify and manage non-conforming products and food safety hazards, ensuring issues are investigated and recommending solutions
Maintain records, documentation, and retention samples
Proactively identify and execute on continuous improvement opportunities
Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED equivalent from an accredited institution
Able to work weekends, holidays and overtime as needed
Experience with Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint)
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in food related field (Food Science, Chemistry, Microbiology, Biochemistry, etc.)
Experience in quality assurance testing

Crouch, kneel, stoop, reach above shoulders, bend, balance, climb, work on ladder, push, pull, grasp, feel, perform fine manipulation, lift/carry (up to 50 pounds), sit, stand and walk for extended periods
Work in dusty, high heat/humidity environment
Communicate verbally and in writing, and distinguish objects or equipment visually
Work 12-hour shifts
