Summary

RNDC is hiring an experienced FP&A Manager to join its growing Business Performance Management team. This role involves developing budgets, creating forecasts, conducting variance analyses, and collaborating across departments to ensure accurate financial reporting. The Manager will also identify and propose action plans to enhance business performance and profitability.

In this role, you will
  • Conduct in-depth financial analysis to evaluate company performance and financial insights, including variance analysis and trend analysis.
  • Lead the annual budgeting process, quarterly LE, QBR, and monthly forecast process, including developing detailed revenue and expense forecasts and regularly updating forecasts based on current market conditions and business performance. Build and maintain complex financial models to analyze various business scenarios, including new suppliers, new items, market expansions, and cost-saving initiatives. 
  • Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), conduct variance analysis to identify deviations from budget and expense control, and provide insights into the drivers of performance. 
  • Analyze financial data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for growth, ROI on segments of suppliers, customers, geographies, distribution channels, inventory, equipment etc., providing strategic recommendations to senior leadership. 
  • Collaborate with different departments (sales, finance, marketing, operations, etc.) to understand their business drivers and provide financial support for decision-making. 
  • Prepare comprehensive financial reports, including dashboards and presentations, to communicate key financial metrics, trends, and variances to stakeholders. 
  • Identify areas for improvement in financial planning and analysis processes, including automation and data integration. Ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data within the financial systems.  
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Executive Leadership teams, Sales, Sales Operations, Commercial Finance, and Business Performance Management to gather data and insights for financial analysis.  Collaborate with special projects as needed.
     
What you bring to RNDC
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field is required. MBA or relevant certification (CFA, CPA) is a plus.
  • 5-7 years of experience in financial planning and analysis roles, with progressive responsibility, preferably in the wine & spirits industry.
  • Proficiency in financial modeling, advanced Excel skills, and robust financial modeling experience. Experience with financial planning and ERP software, preferably Alpha, Oracle, and ASW. Proficiency in financial modeling and spreadsheet software (Excel, etc.). Experience with data visualization tools and Business Intelligence platforms. 
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to synthesize complex data into actionable insights.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail. 
  • Self-motivated and proactive, both for managing workload and own professional development.
  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, flexible, fast-paced environment. High level of commitment to delivering accurately and on time. 
  • Up to 10% travel and willingness to work a flexible schedule as required to meet company objectives.
