Title: Manager, Organizational Development

Job Type:

Regular Company: Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center Department: Organizational Development Time Type: Full time Weekly Hours: 40 FTE: 1 Shift: First Shift (United States of America) Summary: Serves as the operational leader of Organizational Development (Org Dev) initiatives (daily operations), translating the strategic direction set by the Director, Organizational Development into actionable programs. Manages the Org Dev team, overseeing program execution, stakeholder engagement, and the integration of Org Dev efforts into broader business functions. Ensures that Org Dev interventions. including change management, leadership development, and workforce engagement initiatives, are implemented effectively and aligned with Roswell Park's strategic priorities. Collaborates with HR, senior leaders, Employee Advocacy and Fairness, and key stakeholders (including clinical departments) to drive execution, measure impact, and refine Org Dev initiatives for continuous improvement. Requires strong team leadership, project management, and analytical skills to ensure Org Dev programs support enterprise-wide performance, culture transformation, and employee development. Qualifications: Required Education and Experience:
1. Master's degree in Organizational Development, Industrial/Organizational Psychology, Human Resources, Business Administration, Behavioral Sciences, or a related field and the equivalent of eight (8) years of full-time experience in Organizational Development, leadership development, and/or change management; or
2. Bachelor's degree in Organizational Development, Industrial/Organizational Psychology, Human Resources, Business Administration, Behavioral Sciences, or a related field and the equivalent of ten (10) years of full-time experience in Organizational Development, leadership development, and/or change management.

NOTE:
Required degrees must have been granted by an accredited college or university or one recognized by Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center as following acceptable educational practices.

Preferred Qualifications:

Proven success leading and managing a cross-functional Organizational Development team (e.g. healthcare, non-profit, higher ed, or regulated industry)

Demonstrated ability to translate strategic Org Dev vision into operational plans

Experience leading enterprise-wide change management efforts

Strong track record of partnership with HR, Legal, Compliance, and Learning functions

Hands-on experience designing or implementing leadership development programs

Experience embedding employee fairness and advocacy into leadership training or culture-shaping work

Expertise using diagnostics and performance metrics to inform Org Dev interventions

Experience leading or managing an LMS strategy

Advanced facilitation and consultation skills with mid- to senior-level leaders

Experience in healthcare, academic medicine, or research environments

Experience leading or contributing to enterprise-wide employee engagement strategies beyond training delivery; implementing sustainability

Demonstrated ability to influence up, including executive coaching or supporting senior leadership alignment

Experience with Org Dev in a high-change, matrixed, or mission-driven environment (e.g. healthcare, non-profit, higher ed, or regulated industry)
