Title: Occupational and Environmental Safety Program Manager

Regular Company: Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center Department: Occupational & Environmental Safety Time Type: Full time Weekly Hours: 40 FTE: 1 Shift: First Shift (United States of America) Summary: Serves as the program leader for multiple organization safety programs, e.g. Emergency Preparedness (EP) Hazardous Drug Safety, Lab Safety, Facilities Safety, Industrial Hygiene, Safe Patient Handling, and department-level safety programs; responsible for adhering to strict compliance standards imposed by The Joint Commission (TJC) and the National Institute of Health/Centers for Disease Control in the areas of occupational and environment safety. Qualifications: Required Education and Experience

1. Doctorate degree in a relevant field and the equivalent of one (1) year of full-time professional work experience in a safety related capacity; or
2. Master's degree in a relevant field and the equivalent of three (3) years of full-time professional work experience in a safety related capacity.

NOTE:
Required degrees must have been granted by an accredited school, college or university or one recognized by Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center as following acceptable educational practices.
