Regular Company: Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center Department: Scott Bieler Amherst Center Radiology Time Type: Full time Weekly Hours: 40 FTE: 1 Shift: First Shift (United States of America) Summary: Operates radiologic equipment to produce radiographs (x-rays) of body for diagnostic purposes as directed by radiologists.This position includes a base salary and geographic differential. Total combined salary range for this position is $58,969 - $70,281 annually which includes a comprehensive benefits package. Qualifications: Required Education and Experience
License and Certification Requirements
1. License to practice as a Radiologic Technologist in the State of New York.
2. Current Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS).
Education and Experience
1. Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology; or
2. Certification from an approved Radiologic Technologist program and the equivalent of three (3) years of full-time experience as a Radiologic Technologist.
NOTES:
1. As a condition of continued employment, incumbents must obtain and maintain the certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) within ninety (90) days of their appointment to this title.
2. Required degrees must have been granted by an accredited college or university or one recognized by Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center as following acceptable educational practices.
Preferred Qualifications:
The preferred candidate will have two year's experience as a registered x-ray technologist, recent radiologic technology experience within past year, and experience working independently at an outpatient imaging facility. Experience in Bone Density. QA experience in X-ray and Bone Density equipment.
