Title: Senior Nursing Quality Coordinator/Nursing Quality Coordinator

Regular Company: Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center Department: Diagnostic Radiology Time Type: Full time Weekly Hours: 40 FTE: 1 Shift: First Shift (United States of America) Summary: Provides leadership in obtaining and analyzing data related to patient outcomes, nursing interventions, and quality indicators. Uses analytic methods, knowledge of best practices, extant literature, and current performance to develop and provide leadership in implementation of develop complex quality improvement strategies. Provides support for strategic goals and initiatives, quality improvement projects and research initiatives for Nursing, the Nursing Excellence Program, Patient Care Services, and Infection Control. Performs all duties of the Nursing Quality Coordinator.Salary range for the Senior level is $98,456-$121,360 plus the associated geo diff of $17,676-$20,160 depending on education/certification. Salary range for the non-senior role is $88,639-$111,897 plus the associated geo diff of $17,676-$20,160. Qualifications: Required Education and Experience for SENIOR Nursing Quality Coordinator
License and Certification Requirements
1. License to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of New York.
2. Certification or eligibility for Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS).
Education and Experience
1. Bachelor's degree in Nursing and the equivalent of four(4) years of full-time nursing experience in an oncology support setting including one (1) year of supervisory/lead experience; or
2. Bachelor's degree in Nursing and the equivalent of five (5) years of full-time nursing experience in an acute care support setting including one (1) year experience in an oncology support setting and one (1) year of supervisory/lead experience; or
3. Associate's degree in Nursing and the equivalent of six (6) years of full-time nursing experience in an oncology support setting including one (1) year of supervisory/lead experience; or
4. Associate's degree in Nursing and the equivalent of seven (7) years of full-time nursing experience in an acute care support setting including one (1) year experience in an oncology support setting and one (1) year of supervisory/lead experience.

NOTES:
1. As a condition of continued employment, incumbents must obtain and maintain the appropriate certification within eighteen (18) months of their appointment to this title.
2. As a condition of continued employment, incumbents must obtain certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) within six (6) months of their appointment to this title.
3. Required degrees must have been granted by an accredited school, college or university or one recognized by Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center as following acceptable educational practices.
