About the Role
- Type: Full-time Permanent
- Compensation : $45,000–$48,000 CAD annually, plus monthly commission incentive
- Shifts : Monday to Friday 8:30 Am-5:00Pm
- Location: Calgary
The Vehicle Sales Associate is responsible for supporting the sale of Ryder's used commercial vehicles by delivering an exceptional customer experience from initial inquiry through final delivery. Working closely with the Vehicle Sales Manager, this role combines customer relationship management, sales support, inventory coordination, and administrative responsibilities to ensure a seamless purchasing experience.
The ideal candidate is customer-focused, highly organized, and motivated to contribute to sales growth while maintaining Ryder's commitment to service excellence.
Responsibilities
- Support the Vehicle Sales Manager in the day-to-day operation of the Used Vehicle Sales Centre.
- Assist customers throughout the vehicle purchasing process by providing accurate product information and timely follow-up.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers.
- Manage customer inquiries received by phone, email, online platforms, and walk-in traffic.
- Maintain accurate customer and prospect information within company systems.
- Assist in marketing and promoting Ryder's used vehicle inventory through various sales channels.
- Coordinate vehicle staging, merchandising, and online listings to maximize visibility and sales opportunities.
- Track vehicle inventory from arrival through final sale while maintaining accurate records.
- Prepare sales contracts and supporting documentation.
- Coordinate title transfers and vehicle ownership documentation.
- Generate weekly, monthly, and ad hoc sales and inventory reports.
- Coordinate paperwork and communication with internal departments to ensure timely vehicle delivery.
- Conduct customer follow-up after vehicle sales to ensure satisfaction and encourage repeat business.
- Maintain organized electronic and physical sales records.
- Perform general administrative duties, including filing, document management, and correspondence.
- Support special projects and other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in Business, Sales, Marketing, or a related field is considered an asset.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in sales, customer service, dealership operations, fleet services, or a related industry.
- Experience selling commercial vehicles, automotive products, equipment, or transportation solutions is considered an asset.
- Strong customer service and relationship-building skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite.
- Experience using CRM or dealership management systems is an asset.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

Compensation Information :
