SAIC is proud to support the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC) under the Infrastructure Support Services (ISS) contract. We are seeking a seasoned and dynamic Asset Management Lead to oversee, optimize, and ensure compliance within the lifecycle management of FDIC's IT and client service assets. This critical role is central to maintaining operational excellence, handling inventory controls, and aligning asset strategies with FDIC's governance standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Comprehensive Asset Lifecycle Management:
- Develop and implement robust IT asset lifecycle strategies, covering procurement, receipt, inventory tracking, utilization, and disposition of assets.
- Administer asset refresh and replacement plans in line with FDIC's technology roadmap.
- Asset Data Management and Reporting:
- Utilize FDIC's tools (e.g., MDM tools, CMDB, or equivalent) to track and maintain high-quality data on asset status, usage trends, and inventory reconciliation.
- Analyze data to identify trends, optimize asset usage, and report asset status to FDIC leadership.
- Continuous Process Improvement:
- Enhance asset tracking methodologies and ensure adherence to FDIC asset management policies.
- Identify and implement efficiencies in asset management operations, ensuring cost-effectiveness and reduced waste.
- Compliance and Risk Reduction:
- Ensure policies align with federal standards and FDIC operational guidelines.
- Conduct regular audits on IT and wireless inventory to mitigate risks and resolve discrepancies.
- Team Leadership and Stakeholder Coordination:
- Provide subject-matter expertise and leadership to teams on-site, effectively directing client service support activities.
- Collaborate closely with FDIC teams to forecast and plan for asset requirements proactively.
Qualifications
Education and Certifications:
- Bachelors and nine (9) years or more experience; Masters and seven (7) years or more experience ; PhD or JD and four (4) years or more experience. Experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
- ITIL 4 Foundation and Intermediate certification required.
- Advanced training or certifications in Asset or Inventory Management are a plus.
Experience:
- Minimum of 10 years of expertise in IT hardware and software asset management within a large enterprise environment.
- Strong understanding of IT asset lifecycle, software license management, and inventory tracking processes.
- Advanced data analytics and reporting to determine asset trends and optimization strategies.
- Proficiency with IT asset management software tools and inventory management systems.
- Excellent problem-solving skills to address deviations in asset tracking and usage.
- Strong communication skills to present technical data to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Commitment to maintaining the confidentiality of FDIC's assets and information.
