SIAC is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Azure Administrator to manage and maintain Azure cloud environments. The ideal candidate will assist in deploying, configuring, monitoring, and troubleshooting Azure infrastructure and services. This role is key to ensuring the stability, security, and scalability of our cloud-based solutions.
This position is fully remote and can be worked from anywhere in the United States.
Responsibilities:

Deploy, configure, and manage Azure resources, such as virtual machines (VMs), storage accounts, and networking components.

Monitor Azure environments for performance, availability, scalability, and security using Azure Monitor and other tools.

Perform system troubleshooting and problem resolution for Azure-based services and infrastructure.

Respond to alerts, incidents, and outages in a timely and effective manner.

Ensure Azure Security best practices, such as administration of NSGs (Network Security Groups), threat detection tools, and data encryption are applied.

Participate in compliance audits and remediation efforts related to Azure services.

Perform routine backup validation and failure testing.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
Bachelors and 3 years of relevant experience. Additional experience will be considered in lieu of degree.
Strong understanding of core Azure services, such as Azure Virtual Machines, Virtual Networks, Load Balancers, Storage, and App Services.
Practical knowledge of Azure AD, role-based access control (RBAC), and identity management.
Familiarity with scripting and automation tools like PowerShell, Azure CLI, or Azure PowerShell modules.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with both technical and non-technical staff.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively on a team.
Ability to obtain and maintain a public trust clearance
Preferred Qualifications:
Microsoft Azure-related certifications highly preferred.
