SAIC is looking for an experienced Business Analyst to join our team at the DOI.
- Support the development of business processes, policies, roles and responsibilities, and performance metrics
- Support discussions or workshops to identify areas of improvement, business needs, insights and validate findings
- Support stakeholder meetings with organization and note-taking
- Draft and revise technical documentation
- Create and maintain PowerPoint presentations to communicate policies and workflows
- Tracking action items and following up on their completion
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define, document, and analyze business needs.
- Establish and develop relationships between customer and stakeholders
- Research and summarize federal and organizational policies related to data management and data governance
Qualifications
Ideal candidate will possess the following skills:
- Strong technical writing
- Ability to synthesize and distill complex information
- Ability to effectively communicate business information with a diverse audience
- Strong PowerPoint skills
- Experience with desktop publishing tools
- Ability to manage multiple assignments
- Understanding of organizational structures and organizational change management
- Experience with IT systems, GIS systems, Geospatial data environments, and data analysis, is preferred
- Experience supporting data governance initiatives and data platform operations, is preferred
Bachelors and two (2) years or more experience; Masters and 0 years related experience.
