SAIC is seeking a CAD Operator for a position supporting multiple projects at our customer location in Hanahan, SC. 

This position is 100% onsite at our Hanahan, SC office.

Job Duties:

• Familiarity with multiple CAD platforms including Inventor and SolidWorks.
• Convert and/or recreate Inventor files in SolidWorks.
• Learn multiple project's Technical Drawing Packages (TDPs) as well as the interoperability of system components.  
• The knowledge and drive to continuously improve the Project's repository of Drawing files.
• Work with the Project Engineer to develop Drawings of components.  
• Support multiple projects simultaneously.
• Track and communicate tasking status to supervisors and managers.
• Participate in quarterly Project Management Reviews and Physical Configuration Audits as necessary.
• Utilize industry tools/tracking applications for drawing reviews, version control and storage of Drawings with an extremely disciplined version/revision control.
   

Qualifications

Required Education and Experience:

• High School diploma or GED; Two (2) years or more of work experience.
• Experience drafting and illustrating in the electronics field to include: computerized drafting applications, digital imaging techniques, use of AutoCAD.
• SolidWorks Experience.

Required Clearance:

• Must have an active Secret Clearance before starting
