SAIC is seeking a proactive, highly motivated, and mission-oriented professional to fill a critical role for a vital customer program with national security impacts. The successful candidate will work with the customer's mission director as the contractor lead, managing all aspects of their mission planning and operations. In this role, the candidate is expected to climb a steep learning curve, learning the nuances of the mission, technologies and CONOPs.  This position will require CONUS and OCONUS travel depending on the mission lifecycle. 

Qualifications

• Minimum of 14 years of total work experience with a Bachelors degree
• Experience in the broader customer environment related to systems engineering, operations, integration, or other relevant functional areas
• Demonstrated ability to serve as an effective team player, working collaboratively and building partnerships
• Experience in end-to-end planning and documentation, optimization, change and risk management, and integration/maintenance activities
• Exceptional attention to detail and proactive drive for mission success. Waiting to be tasked in this role is not an option!
• Flexibility to adapt to different tasks based on the needs of the mission
• Experience developing schedules, incorporating all the elements that drive a full mission lifecycle. Responsible to the mission director for helping achieve milestones
• Ability to learn the technical and operational nuances of the mission, which will include formal and on-the-job training
• Ability to motivate a team and maintain a positive attitude in the face of adversity to drive through to mission success
