SAIC is seeking a Helpdesk Support Specialist to support SAIC's Integrated Battle Command System (IBCS) FMS Team in Huntsville, AL.

 

The Helpdesk Support Specialist will be responsible for but not limited to the following:

  • Provide web application support.

  • Provide systems administration support to cross-functional product development teams.

  • Prepare detailed systems administration plans and level of effort estimates for meeting product roadmap release requirements.

  • Detect, diagnose, isolate and correct web system operational failures.

  • Support Incident and Problem Management activities with web expertise and troubleshooting.

Qualifications

Required Education:

  • Bachelor's degree and zero (0) years' experience; additional six (6) years' experience can be considered in lieu of degree (per contract vehicle).

Required Clearance:

  • Must possess an active Interim Secret security clearance with the ability to obtain a Secret security clearance; US Citizenship required.

Required Skills:

  • Proficiency in troubleshooting web application issues, including browser compatibility, performance, and user access problems.

  • Knowledge of web technologies, such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and APIs.

  • Familiarity with common web browsers and their respective developer tools.

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to empathize with end-users and provide clear, concise instructions and solutions.

  • Demonstrated ability to analyze complex technical issues, identify root causes, and implement effective solutions.

  • Proficiency in maintaining accurate and detailed records of support incidents and resolutions.
