SAIC is seeking an Instructional Systems Designer located in Huntsville, AL to support Hardware in the Loop – Aviation (HWIL-A) to analyze, design, and develop Interactive Multimedia Instruction and Serious Games with levels of interactivity ranging from Levels 2-4 in accordance with the Army Virtual Learning Environment.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
Analyze training needs and developing solutions to address them.
Provide consultation and recommendations to customers on innovative training solutions as well as on effective and relevant curriculum development.
Create asynchronous and synchronous instruction designed for a distributed immersive learning environment.
Work with instructors, Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), and multimedia developers to analyze, design, develop, and evaluate distributed learning solutions.
Create storyboards, scripts, scenario-based instruction, and other advanced learning strategies to meet the needs of learners.
Provide expertise in the creation of processes, and implementation of distributed learning.
Perform the actual detailed development of course materials or courseware, as well as product testing, and maintenance.
Qualifications
REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor's and three (3)+ years of related experience; additional four (4) years of experience accepted in lieu of degree
Knowledge and understanding of Bloom's Taxonomy
Experience with curriculum design/development and learning solutions
Experience collecting, compiling, analyzing and synthesizing learner/customer feedback
Experience using Microsoft 365 suite applications
Exceptional written and oral communication skills
REQUIRED CLEARANCE:
No clearance required to start, but must be able to obtain a Secret Clearance
Must be a current US Citizen
