SAIC is seeking an IT Security Administrator in Middletown, RI.

JOB DUTIES:

  • Works in parallel with internal Software Engineering team to ensure system functionality remains consistent while cybersecurity patching/hardening is implemented; mitigating issues between system development needs and continuous security protocols
  • Performs security assessments against all classified systems under DCSA purview, for vulnerabilities, security misconfigurations, and compliance-related concerns
  • Utilizes a variety of industry standard security tools to conduct manual-based security assessments
  • Utilizes a variety of industry standard security tools to conduct automated scans against web and mobile applications
  • Generate and maintain physical documentation to support multiple ATOs, to include Objective Qualifying Evidence (OQE), Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Onsite Policies and other documents are required
  • Manages hard drive image library configuration management and patch versions that have been applied and/or need to be applied
  • Produces detailed reports (automated and manual) based on results from assessments and have the ability to explain in detail to customers, validators and internal teams
     

Qualifications

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND CLEARANCE:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Cybersecurity, Information Technology and two (2) years of work experience.
  • Must be a US Citizen
  • Must have Secret Clearance
  • Must have Security+ or be IAT II certified
  • Experience conducting security assessments across multiple projects with different teams
  • Experience with RMF workflow; with DOD or contractor supporting the DOD.
  • Experience with vulnerability scanning using DISA toolsets and Tenable Nessus Security Center (ACAS)
  • Serve as Data Transfer Agent (DTA) for High to Low and Hight to High transfers
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong planning, organizational, and time management skills
  • Exceptional analytical and conceptual thinking skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with a team of peers
