SAIC is seeking a highly motivated, self-directed IT System Integrator to assist the Task Order Manager in managing and executing customer task orders efficiently and effectively. This critical role requires someone with a proactive mindset, the ability to work independently, a blend of technical and project management skills, and strong communication abilities. This position is located in Albuquerque, New Mexico.
Key Responsibilities:
Analyze new tasking from customers, assess requirements, and develop a plan to address them.
Support other tasks and activities as needed and as requested.
Identify gaps, risks, or potential challenges in task execution and proactively resolve them.
Collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs) across the appropriate domains, including information technology, networking, and satellite communications, to diagnose issues and develop solutions.
Effectively summarize and "sell" proposed solutions to customers, ensuring alignment with their goals.
Provide regular updates to the Task Order Manager on the progress of assigned tasks, including challenges, milestones, and outcomes.
Leverage an understanding of information technology, networking, and satellite communications to support technical tasks.
Bring a project management approach to tasking, ensuring thorough planning and execution.
Manage deadlines, resources, and competing priorities effectively.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in a technical field and 5+ years of technical experience. Will accept 4 years of experience in lieu of degree
Active Top Secret or DoE Q clearance with SCI eligibility (must be eligible for SCI indoctrination within first 3 months of start date) and be able to obtain and maintain TS/SCI
CompTIA Security + or equivalent certification required for DoD 8570 Information Assurance Technical (IAT) Level 2 compliance and able to obtain environment certification within 6 months of start
Minimum 2 years' experience in information technology roles, e.g., help desk, system administrator, hardware specialist, network administrator
Understanding of principles of information technology, particularly networking concepts such as routing, switching, firewalls, or connectivity.
Ability to effectively manage multiple tasks and prioritize under tight deadlines.
Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with SMEs and stakeholders from varying disciplines.
Confidence in presenting ideas, solutions, or updates to leadership and external customers.
Preferred Qualifications:
Basic understanding of satellite communications (e.g., links, bandwidth, latencies).
PMP, ITIL, or other relevant project management certifications.
Familiarity with government contracting environments, particularly task orders within larger programs.
Experience using collaboration tools such as Jira, Microsoft Teams, or other project/task management platforms.
