SAIC is looking for an experienced Principal Graphic Designer to support proposals as an integral part of the proposal production team. Successful candidate will work collaboratively with all members of a proposal team to develop high impact proposal graphics and images to convey technical concepts and information that satisfies RFP requirements. Work closely with fellow proposal production team members to better understand SAIC procedures. Maintain art repository. Extended work hours may be required to meet production deadlines. This is a hybrid role with the ability to come into our Reston office as needed. Candidates must be U.S. Citizens.
Qualifications
• Demonstrated knowledge and expertise in Adobe Creative Suite with concentration in Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, and Adobe In-design
• Experience with AAS/FEDSIM oral submissions
• Bachelor's degree and 10 years of experience. 4 additional years will be used in lieu of a degree.
• Experience with government proposal development and processes.
• Experience reading and analyzing requests for proposals.
• Detail oriented and able to work with minimal supervision.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Good written and verbal skills along with a working knowledge of Microsoft
Office suite programs (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, etc.), and Visio and Acrobat X Pro
• SharePoint proficiency.
• Mentoring skills.
