SAIC is seeking an Electrical Engineer provide technical and engineering support services for PMA-209. Candidates should have experience with software designed radios with Embedded COMSEC, anti-jam, and SATCOM waveforms. Work products includes review of ECPs / CDRL documents. Draft technical white papers and platform integration plans. Test ARC-210 radios capabilities provided with Collins radio and RCU software releases.
Responsibilities:
- Applies engineering principles to investigate, analyze, plan, and design, develop, implement, test or evaluate military weapons systems.
- Reviews and prepares engineering and technical analyses, reports, change proposals, and other technical documentation.
- Applies engineering experience to perform functions such as system integration, configuration management, quality assurance testing, or acquisition and resource management.
- Analyzes designs, develops, implements, tests or evaluates products related to engineering or functional requirements of military weapons systems.
- Write procedures, work instructions and design practices criteria to standardize work products.
- Evaluate technical specifications and applicable performance requirements.
- Recommend and prepare inputs for test plans, procedures, etc. and provide other recommendation as needed.
CLEARANCE REQUIRMENT:
TACCOM/ARC-210 Program requires qualified candidate the ability to obtain top secret clearance supporting integration of Communication systems spread across DOD platforms. A minimum of an Active Secret clearance is required.

Qualifications
REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- BS Degree in Math, Physics, Computer Science, or an Engineering Discipline. Four-year ABET accredited Engineering Degree preferred
- At least nine (9) years of experience in an Engineering role.
- Three (3) years of experience with Navy Test and Evaluation Planning and execution preferred.
Desired Experience:
- 3 or more years of experience in Electronics Countermeasure Systems.
- Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Familiar with the Department of Defense (DOD) System Engineering Technical Review (SETR) process.
- Familiar with Naval Test Procedures. Competent in MS-Word, MS-Excel, MS-Power Point.
Security Clearance: Secret required
