SAIC has a career opportunity for a Senior Training Analyst at Navy Warfare Development Center in Norfolk, Virgina.

Job Description. The individual in this position supports Navy Warfare Development Center in designing and delivering operational level of warfare training and fleet maritime operations center certifications in support of Navy component commanders and numbered fleet commanders.
•    This is a full-time, in-office position; remote work and hybrid work are not available for this position.
•    This position requires worldwide travel to fleet headquarters and other locations to support exercise planning and execution; travel up to 20%. 
Responsibilities
•    Project coordinator 
o    Integrate internal / external fleet and training stakeholder cross-functional teams to plan, execute, and assess fleet maritime operations center certifications.
o    Align exercise planning to campaign, contingency, and crisis planning and execution to create a challenging scenario-based synthetic training environment.
o    Attend Joint Event Life Cycle planning conferences and coordinate Navy requirements with the joint training enterprise.  
o    Draft collection management plans for maritime operations center certification events.
o    Organize metrics-based evaluations and assessments of maritime operations center performance and proficiency.
o    Conduct data analysis and draft comprehensive assessments detailing maritime operations center proficiency.
•    Operational level of warfare observer / trainer
o    Provide subject matter expertise related to command and control, information, intelligence, fires, movement and maneuver, protection, and/or sustainment.
o    Analyze training deficiencies and develop objective-based training.
o    Deliver training to maritime operations center functional teams and cross-functional teams. 
o    Observe, evaluate, assess, and report maritime operations center proficiency.
 

Qualifications

Required 
•    U.S. citizenship 
•    Bachelor's degree
•    Fifteen (15) years of cumulative experience with joint and maritime operations. 4 years additional experience accepted in lieu of degree.
•    Three (3) years of cumulative experience serving on operational and/or strategic level headquarters staffs as a division chief, assistant chief of staff, director, branch head, department head, or equivalent position
•    Three (3) years of cumulative experience serving in a formal education institution or training organization, with specific experience in instructional design
•    Demonstrated experience in drafting executive-level written work
•    Demonstrated experience in delivering executive-level presentations  
•    Active Top Secret security clearance with eligibility for access to Sensitive Compartmented Information
Desired 
•    Graduate degree with coursework in national security policy, defense planning, business administration, or related field
•    Joint Professional Military Education Phase I and Phase II certification
•    Project Management Professional certification
